Duplicate Songs or Metadata Errors — Clean Up Your Library

Problem summary

Users find duplicate entries, incorrect track titles, or wrong album artwork.

Delete local files duplicates and re‑import.

Remove and re‑sync library; clear cache.

Report metadata errors to Spotify or edit local files to correct tags.

If duplicates from local files, remove local file references: Settings → Local Files.

Clear cache and re‑scan: Settings → Clear cache; restart app.

If metadata wrong for online tracks, open desktop client → right‑click track → report or use Spotify for Artists (artists can correct).
