Offline Tracks Not Playing — Resolve Spotify Download & Offline Issues

Problem summary

Downloaded songs won't play offline or downloads fail to complete.

Ensure "Download" completed and device has storage.

Use "Available Offline" toggle.

Verify Premium account active (offline requires Premium).

Disable Data Saver/Offline Mode toggles incorrectly set.

Re‑download playlist/album.

Reauthorize device if changed account.

Confirm you're signed into the correct Premium account.

Check Settings → Storage for available space; free up space if needed.

Toggle Offline mode off/on (Settings → Playback → Offline).

Remove the downloaded playlist/album and re-download.

Restart the app and device.

If using multiple devices, go to Account Overview → Sign out everywhere and sign back in on the device to reauthorize offline files.
