Region Restrictions — Why Some Tracks Aren’t Available and Workarounds

Problem summary

Certain songs or albums show "not available in your country."

This is usually licensing agreements; no guaranteed workaround.

Check if content available via artist's page, YouTube, or purchase on another store.

Use local release or contact artist/label. For travel, use a subscription swap per Spotify rules (not VPN).

Confirm the track is unavailable by searching on web (Spotify Web).

Check artist's official channels for availability or regional releases.

Do not use VPN to circumvent region locks—violates Terms of Service.

If you moved countries, update your account country in Settings following Spotify's policy.
